Wonderful, you’re pregnant, many congratulations. Here at the Hut we love supporting this special time in your life. Happy calm Mummy creates a Happy Calm Baby. A combination of kinesiology to support any emotions we may have and let’s be honest our hormones are working over time when growing a little one and identify any nutritional support you and baby may need not to mention the common symptoms of Symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD) and backache that can be easily adjusted. Feel nurtured throughout your pregnancy at the Hut.
Reflexology is a great way to prepare for birth from 16 weeks onwards. Research proves that 10-12 Maternity Reflexology Treatments during pregnancy significantly reduces the need for pain relief and shortens the first stage of labour. As well as supporting all physical changes in your body whilst pregnant.
*Here at the Hut I think our record time was an hour, a couple of two hours with the usual for first time Mums is six hours, all of course with no pain relief.*
Every pregnancy and labour is completely individual, priority is always Mum and safe arrival of baby and sometimes we have to trust in Nature but as we all know preparation is key so let’s prepare for a great birth, feel nurtured and schedule time to bond with baby.
The Fourth Trimester
A beautiful time where Mum and baby are getting to know each other. Mum adjusts to not having a bump and surrenders to all the demands of a new baby and new borns adjust to all the changes that being outside the womb brings , the sounds, the smells the need to survive.
Reflexology is a lovely gentle way that Mum can feel nurtured after birth. In your treatment time we will encourage the balance of hormones, stimulate points to help with breast feeding and help you relax.
Babies can off course come along and in this time I can show Mum Reflex points that may help baby feed, sleep and digest.
Kinesiology in the fourth trimester
During pregnancy and especially after birth, we can feel depleted nutritionally and energetically. Kinesiology can approach deficiencies and help you transition into motherhood. We can approach fears that come with being a new parent, birth trauma and most of all give you coping techniques to empower you as a mother.
Kinesiology for babies
Many babies struggle with acid reflux and a sluggish digestive system as this is often the last system in the body to develop. Many babies are also very sensitive to dairy. Both problems can be very easily rectified with kinesiology. We use Mum as a surrogate during testing and with a few gentle adjustments babies digestive system can start to work effectively.
